The southern part of South Sumatra is known as OKU Raya. OKU is an abbreviation of two tribal names, namely the Ogan and Komering tribes upstream. The names of the two tribes located upstream became the forerunner of the names of the regencies in the OKU Raya area, namely OKU regency, and South OKU, and East OKU, of the three regencies that are dominated by the Komering tribe is East OKU regency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Komering people have customs and traditions that are still used today, one of which is the wedding ceremony. According to the customary law of the Komering Tribe, if you are married, you are obliged to have Adok.
