Mapping the music genre area with divisions based on musical characteristics; musical functions; and types of music both instrumental and vocal, as well as those that are sacred and profane as a real picture that the Dayak people actually have high-value works of art. Direct observation of several artifacts, natural surroundings and community life that are full of religious social meaning as an answer to the misunderstanding and confusion of people's perceptions of the Dayak tribe and its culture.
