The rapid development of information technology provides a diversity of communication spaces between music creators and audiences. Diversified digital spaces provide unlimited freedom of habitus expression, accumulate capital in controlling the digital market so that copyright protection is often not “something” that is considered. The issue will be discussed in the workshop “Socialization of Music Copyright in the Digital World” with Bimas Nurcahya Tranggono and Meidi Ferialdi. Bimas Nurcahya Tranggono is the Director of Pragita Prabawa Publishing, President Director of Kobar Pragita Musik which is engaged in publishing and music labels (producing songs, recording songs, video clips), as well as being a member of the drafting team of government regulations on music or song licensing. Along with Bimas Nurcahya Tranggono, there was also an interesting speaker, Meidi Ferialdi who is the Chief of Licensing & Copyright Officer of Wahana Musik Indonesia (WAMI).
